Bio: Michael Manno - Managing Principal
Michael Manno's operational expertise stems from a successful background of construction and redevelopment. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Mr. Manno started his career in New Jersey as a construction/development superintendent. In this capacity, he worked on structural concrete projects ranging from small residential developments to large commercial projects, such as Action Park Water Park.
In 1998, Mr. Manno moved to Florida to pursue larger construction projects and take his career to the next level. As a Senior Project Manager for a local builder, he specialized in bringing older high-rise buildings up to current code for both Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Fire Prevention compliance.
From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Manno held positions as a Development/Project Manager for two different design/build firms where he was responsible for overseeing the development and construction of several large retail "big box" projects, including prominent tenants such as Home Depot, Best Buy and Circuit City. Other successfully completed projects include Weston Road Business Center and Vista BMW, the largest BMW dealership in the United States.
Having proven his expertise in the construction and development fields, Mr. Manno was recruited by Uccello Immobilien GmbH, a former client, to enter the property and asset management service sector. Specifically, Mr. Manno oversaw the operations of Uccello's Florida portfolio of assets, which comprised more than 600,000 square feet of office buildings in six different market locations. Mr. Manno successfully renovated and repositioned the portfolio by cutting operating expenses, efficiently managing construction projects and working with leasing and sales brokers. This resulted in the disposition of portions of this portfolio on behalf of Uccello Immobilien GmbH grossing over $90 million in sales. It was during this time, in 2004, that he started Max Property Management Inc., the predecessor to Steelbridge Real Estate Services. Mr. Manno continues to manage commercial assets for Uccello and has gained multiple new clients, including a portfolio of Residential REO assets on behalf of Helm Bank USA.
